Varn exists because somebody has to. Europe spent thirty years outsourcing the work of defending itself. We are bringing that work back, with the engineering depth this decade requires.
The bill is due.
For a generation, Europe bought its defence from elsewhere. The arrangement worked for as long as the people we bought from wanted to keep selling.
That world no longer exists. There is a land war on the continent. There is a serious question about whether the United States will continue to underwrite our security at any price we can afford. And there is a generation of European defence ministries quietly looking at the wreckage of an industrial base and realising the procurement system on its own cannot fix it.
Varn was founded to be one of the companies that does. Not the only one we will need. There should be ten more like us by the end of the decade, and a hundred more by the decade after that.
We are not waiting for the system to catch up. We are designing, building, and assembling now.
